Welcome to St Thomas with St Maurice, your parish church in the Groves, York.  Part of the Church of England.

St Thomas’ is in a fantastic location in a mixed residential area close to the hub of York and York St John University. If you want  a place to worship God, a place to be quiet and think, or just to drop in for a look around, you are most welcome at St Thomas’ – no strings attached.

On the other hand, if you want to explore your faith and play an active part in a growing community of Christian people who aim to serve God in their local area, St Thomas’ is a great place to be.

St T’s is small enough for you to feel welcomed and make friends, but it also has a lovely mix of people.  We have babes in arms right through to people of mature years.
